About Semilla
Semilla is a Latin American Christian leadership development organization founded in Virginia in 1986 by José L. González, , the first Latin American citizen to graduate from Regent University.
Its aim is to accelerate the transformation of the Latin culture by the Word of God through the application of Biblical principles by godly and competent leaders.

Why "Semilla"
“Semilla” (se-mee-lia) is the Spanish word for “seed.” Although based in the United States, Semilla focuses primarily upon the Latin world, including Latin America, Spain and the Hispanic people in the United States.
